What we are looking for
We're constantly researching qualified personnel that may fit our staff. For all the positions, is requested a strong knowledge of Linux and UNIX-like systems.
- If you are a programmer, our programs are written using the C and Python programming languages, therefore their knowledge is recommended but still it's not strictly required as long as you're willing to learn them. In order to be able to give you a better evaluation, it's better to attach source code examples to the curriculum or to enumerate if and which open source projects you contribute or you have contributed in the past.
- If you are a system administrator, use of the command line is fundamental. It's required an in depth knowledge of the main network services and good problem solving.
Even though we work in mixed scenarios, what we are not looking for are people with Microsoft certifications, that code in Java, that use Windows on their personal computer or all the possible combinations of these factors.
Why not to work with us
Several reasons for not to work with us:
- you studied computer science because someone told you that after the graduation, you'd get a work: this may be true in other contexts, but is definitely false for us! Our staff shares the passion for the computer science. Yes, passion before everything else.
- all the things you know about computer science have been taught at school or at university: this continues the concept of the point above, for us the computer science doesn't stop within the walls of a school building, but continues outside too!
- in your dream work, it's required to come to the office in smoking: at our office it's much easier to find people who walk around with sandals!
- you embrace the security-through-obscurity philosophy: here we go exactly in the opposite direction!
